Satanism is the direct or indirect worship, adoration, recognition, and allurement of the devil through the cosmic system by accepting and executing human and demonic viewpoint. In the eyes of God, there are only two categories of belief; Biblical Theism and Satanism, there are only two types of worshippers, those who worship the true God, and those who worship Satan through false gods, or assumed gods. Satan is the god of the majority in the world, worship in various forms, concepts, and ideologies (1 Cor. 8:5-6, 10:19-20). During the Tribulation, Satan will use two decoys as object of adoration, worship, and supreme leadership. a. The False Prophet, the dictator of Palestine [Rev. 16:13, 19:20], the serpent [Gen. 49:16-17], the Willful King [Dan 11:36-40]. b. The beast, the dictator of the Revived Roman Empire, [Rev. 13:1-10]. “And the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she might be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” (Rev. 12:6) the “woman” refers to Jewish believers save during the early days of the Tribulation. The Jews [Israel], by that time, have rebuild the Temple but forbidden to offer sacrifices by the False prophet, [Dan. 9:27, 12:11, Rev. 13:15]. Israel will be forced to sign the “peace treaty” with the dictator of the Revived Roman Empire, as the “only” solution to the peace situation in the region. “Wilderness” refers to 4 areas in the desert of Edom, Moab, Ammon and Petra (Dan. 11:41). A place prepared by God, means that it is divine appointed place, unknown to the anti- Semitics. “Therefore, when you see the Abomination of Desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place [at the place of sacrifice]…Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; let him who is on the house top not go down to get the things out that are in his house” (Mt. 24:15-16). The abomination of desolation refers to the anti-Christ, to be specific to the statue of the Roman Empire dictator. (Dan. 12:11). The dictator of the Palestine, will oppose and exalt himself above every so called god or object of worship, and replace them with himself “as being” god. (2 Thess. 2:3-4). “Mountains” refers to the wilderness hideouts. The warning of v. 17 “Not to go down to get the things” [meaning to pack the valuables], is for those who are attached to their material possessions. “Flee to the mountains” is a mandate for the Tribulation believer to seek the protection of the Lord, and to forget your dollars, silver and gold which will be useless during the Tribulation. The revived Roman Empire or the united nations will have new monetary currency (will it be Euro?) controlled by the beast. The access code for any transaction to buy, or to sell is the mark or number of the Beast. (Rev. 13:17-18). During the first half of the Tribulation, there will be pseudo-prosperity, pseudo-peace and pseudo-spirituality. Since people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God (2 Tim. 3:1-4), they will be busy in eating, drinking, loving and merry making. The rooftop garden was used in the ancient times as place of merry making. “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon and his angels” (Rev. 12:7) “War” in this context refers to cold war between the forces of God, and the forces of Satan. The fact that Michael is the one fighting with Satan [and not the Lord Jesus Christ] shows that Satan is very inferior. Later, an angel will bound Satan (rev. 20:1-2). Satan is waging war against the believers in the Supreme Court of heaven (Zech. 3:1-3). Although our sins might be hidden on earth yet they are open scandal in heaven. Revelation 12:7 used the verb “to fight” [polemeo] twice indicating the general conditions of the warfare, describing the high intensity of the battle. The war began from the fall and will end at the second half of the Tribulation at the expulsion of Satan and his attorneys from heaven (Rev. 12:8-9). “They were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven”. There is a decisive victory; the raging is terminated because the opposing party has nothing to prove except their defeat. Michael and his angelic army is too strong for them. They [Satan & fallen angels] are not fit or worthy to appear before the courtroom of God. Satan is called the great dragon meaning, he is wiles, dangerous, and monstrous characteristics. The Serpent of Old, (Gen. 3:1-5), meaning a double tongue, a liar. Devil means slanderer, Satan [Hellenized Hebrews “Shatan” means enemy], to deceives [planao] refers to Satan’s policy of deceit. Satan, the ruler who rules by deceit, the accuser of our brethren, has been thrown down [demoted] to the earth (Rev. 12:9b, 10b). It is actually a bad news for the people of the world (Rev. 12:12). Satan is coming with his great wrath, a short period of time to do his mission, and a host of demons. Satan persecuted the woman [persecuted Israel since the time of Abel who was murdered by Cain]. No other nation in the world has suffered so much as Israel. [see the Doctrine of anti-Semitism] But two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman (Rev. 12:14) which refers to divine protection [Exodus 19:4, Isaiah 40:31] not military planes or rescue by USA armed forces. USA is not in the Biblical prophecy. A hen would die for her chicks under her wings, but in this case, it is not a hen but a great eagle, which could easily prey on any giant snake [serpent] like Satan. “And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so he will enlist the help of the world’s army, [the United Nations armed forces], presented here as “water like a river” out of the mouth of the devil. [Isaiah 8:7-8] The third invasion of Israel [the first was by Babylonian, second by the Romans] is the final and the worst. The invading enemy forces will come like great flood water killing the helpless Jews with the sword [symbol of death]. The War on the Jews precedes their Deliverance. There will be great earthquake, the land will split and swallow all the members of the UN forces (Rev. 12:16). [ Joel 3:2, Rev. 16:14]. Satan was enraged [orgizo] meaning an irrational emotional anger toward all Semitics or Jews (Rev. 12:17). Revelation 12:17 is the background to the war that ends all wars. Satan is the person behind all motivation and organization of militant forces in history that aggregates other nations. But Jesus Christ alone has the final word and the ability to over rule and counters every satanic move. Satan is never on the winning side, and there is no way for him to win. Satan, deceived himself by believing that he can win this battle, & deceived by his own passion to exterminate the Jews, jump into the City of David, Jerusalem- the trap set for Satan. Why would Satan oblige Israel to sign peace treaty with the Arabs? [So as to avoid embarrassment for unable to bring peace in the Middle East], but Satan final solution is to exterminate the Jews. The problem between the Jews and Arabs is something that God alone can resolve (Gen. 16:11-12). The Arabs are anti-Semitics, and Satan is just using the Arabs to hide his great wrath against Israel. The Greatest Army assembles together The king of the South [the Arabs, Egyptians,], the king of the North [The Russians], the King of the west [Revived Roman Empire], (Dan. 11:42-43, the King of the east [China, the Asians], will converge into a biggest army ever assemble in the entire human history. Divine Purpose for the Tribulation
Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around, and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. And it will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples, and all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. (Zech. 12:2-3) A. Israel will be a potent drink that will choke all who try to drain its contents by harming the Jews. A cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around [the army from four corners of the world]. B. Israel will be a heavy millstone that should not be lifted because of its extreme weight- it will destroy all who will try to lift or to push it aside. Israel is a trap [of God] for destroying the anti-Christ, the anti-Christ’s and all the anti-Semitics. On the night before the final assault on Jerusalem, millions of the enemy of Israel will be poised to strike the fatal blow. Supernatural darkness will descend on the invaders that will last for 24 hours of total darkness. The UN Forces will be immobilized by panic by the universal darkness. (Zech. 12:6, Joel 3:15-16). This universal darkness is divine protection for the believing remnant. Then, the Lord Jesus Christ will appear in dazzling light (Joel 2:11). When the glory of Messiah breaks trough the darkness, all eyes will be riveted on the blazing lights in the clouds. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle (Zech. 14:3). For the heathen and anti-Semitics, it’s too late to hide (Rev. 6:15-17). The four star generals, the most decorated veteran fighters, the billionaires, the most decorated and multi-awarded politicians will tremble and hide away. But there is no where to hide from the Lord Jesus Christ. Three things to remember related to the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ:
The Lord Jesus Christ will fight the numerous armies of all nations, and He will not use human technology or man-made weapons. This is His battle (Isa. 63:1-6). Israel will be a burial ground for “Gog” and for seven months Israel will be buried in order to clean the land (Ezek. 39:11-14), And it will be the headlines- “God has glorified Himself.” God will use a very different kind of sword which will cause those who have gone to war against Jerusalem to rot their flesh while they stand on their feet. (Zech. 14:12). “In that day, declared the Lord, I will strike every horse with bewilderment, and his rider w/ madness. But I will watch over the house of Judah, I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness…And it will come about in that day that day that a great panic from the Lord will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another.” (Zech. 12:4, 14:13) As darkness engulf the whole world, a great panic strike the United Nations Forces, then, they will start killing each other. God used panic as “psyche war” tactics in several occasions [Deut. 2:25, Judges 7:19-22, 1 Sam. 14:1, 6-7, 2 Chron. 20:23]. Blinded by anti-Semitics hatred complex, they will accuse their fellow anti-Semitic of being a Jew; mass murder will result from this kind of madness. God will remove all the anti-Semitic, satanic heathen in this judgment of the nations, as preparation for the Millennial Kingdom. Human wickedness will bring destruction to animals as well, as it was in any divine judgment or cycle of divine discipline upon a nation [Zech. 14:15, cf: Gen. 7:32]. God will not hesitate to destroy animals, owned, used as instruments or in opposing Christ. God created animals for the benefits of men, not to worship God. “And Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance.” (Zech. 14:14) Israel remnant will collect the wealth of the anti-Semitic, satanic, evil, heathen UN forces. They will despoil those who despoiled them in the past… “And they will seize the plunder of those who plundered them.” (Ezek. 39:10) The “future” of he Jews will change (Zech. 14:11), they will be the most admired, respected, consulted and sought in everything. “And thus all Israel will be saved, just as it is written, “the Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob” (Romans 11:26) “All Israel will be saved” does not refer to salvation of the soul but salvation from the enemies. Salvation of the soul is personalized and individualized not by group- it is personalized decision of the soul. God will “remove ungodliness from Jacob” does not refers to forgiveness and redemption of all Semitics but that God will remove all unbelievers in the face of the earth at the commencement of the Millennial Kingdom Topography after the Second Advent Mt. Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem, will be split in its middle from east to west (Zech. 14:4). It will come about in that day that living waters will flow out of Jerusalem (Zech. 14:8). The great mountain of Israel will become a plain (Zech. 4:7). As the Lord Jesus Christ come down from heaven, the mountains will quake at His presence, volcanoes will show great fireworks display, waters will boil (Isaiah 64:1-2). “For behold, the Lord is coming forth from His place. He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him, and the valleys will be split, like wax before the fire, like water poured down a steep place.” (Micah 1:3-4). Tremendous physical changes will take place in the topography of the Middle East is necessary as renovation process for the Millennial Kingdom. God will remove; bury all the garbage before “re-using the planet earth for 1000 years. The devastation brought about by human carelessness and ignorance of Bible doctrine will be a thing of the past. The ecological system of the planet earth will continue to suffer devastation and abuses because of several factors:
Ecological Gospel The task of the believers of any dispensation is not to “protect or prevent the destruction” of the planet earth. There is no such Biblical mandate. We are to proclaim the Gospel of salvation for the souls not of the “mother earth.” Basically, every human being must avoid any participation in the destruction of our environment; however, we can not prevent the destruction of the ecological system and extinction of some animals. Preaching and practicing ecological gospel is reversionism. There is nothing spiritual about this false teaching. The planet earth will continue to exist until the end of the 1000 years reign of Christ. No bombs or weapon of war could destroy our planet earth. There is nothing to fear about nuclear attack, or “World War III,” or any kind of weapon that could destroy the planet earth. God created the world and he alone has the authority to destroy it. [Rev. 21:1a, 2 Peter 3:10-12] The Signs, date and time of the Second advent The parable from the fig tree (Mt. 24:32-35, Mk. 13:28) does not give any clue to those without Bible Doctrine. Anybody can predict the coming of summer by merely looking at the fig tree. But unless a believer is expert in the Word of God, he can not tell that Christ is around the corner. The date and time is unknown to man, and you don’t have to make any prediction (Mt. 24:36-51). People must prepare to meet their God [Amos 4:12b, Mt. 25:1-13]. You can be a fool or a prudent. Christ will come exactly seven years after the rapture, no less no more. People, be prepared to meet the Lord Jesus at the rapture, saved, secure and advancing in the grace and Word of God.
